What’s your churches biggest challenge in prayer?

24-7 is a movement of people and communities who (to borrow a phrase) pray like it all depends on God and live like it all depends on them. The 24-7 team is here to fuel this wave of prayer across the UK. We have experience, passion and a willingness to help – but – how should we focus it?

Recently we gathered in Guildford to pray and brainstorm ways to help the Church pray. After two hours we’d filled a wall with possible projects, resources and training ideas. We could spend the next three years making each idea a reality, but if none of those ideas scratch the itch you’re feeling we’d be wasting our time! So…

What’s the most useful thing we could do, or resource we could produce, that would most impact your Church’s prayer life?

What’s your greatest problem in prayer?

Carla Harding is the National Director for 24-7 Prayer Great Britain. Her life was hijacked by God in 1999 during a two hour stint in the first 24-7 Prayer Room. Carla lives in Chichester, UK with her husband Steve and their children Jackson and Eloise. She loves prayer and worship, friends and food, a well told story, international adventures and a challenge to get her teeth into. In her spare time Carla is an active member of Revelation Church and the lead singer of a functions band… but that’s another story.

I live and minister in Weston Super Mare as a Methodist. I believe God will revive the Methodist Church if we are a praying church. My prayer is for people to be led to pray and for me to see who the people are I can lead to pray as prayer warriors and on 24 / 7 occasions. God is at work and I want the people to experience his wonderful power.
